Come and watch these championship strong men pull a tractor and trailer and see the first Peak District Dinnie Stone Challenge. Dinnie stones were made famous by strongman Donald Dinnie, who reportedly carried the huge stones barehanded across the width of the Potarch Bridge in Scotland, at a distance of 17 ft 1.5 in 1860. See our Strong Men lift the stones and hold them for as long as possible!
There will also be a Tug of War, where the kids can challenge the strongmen!
With a practice of the tossing of the caber too, it’s all a great taster for the amazing Peak District Highland Games on 25th August ….
