We aim to offer farmyard fun for all ages, all year round, in the fresh air and tranquillity of the countryside! We have a plethora of lovely animals to meet, feed and cuddle, an indoor play barn to have fun in, go-karts to ride around on, a shop to browse and a cosy café to visit. Our riding school is also open all year round and offers lessons or hacking for all abilities as well as short pony rides.
Get up close to our lovely animals ...
Enjoy wandering the farm park, with clear signage and plenty of space to social distance, to meet and greet our wide range of friendly animals. From alpaca, ponies and llamas to Highland cattle, sheep and goats to name a few, there are lots of new friends to be made who love being petted. Grab a bag of animal feed and some will eat from the palm of your hand!
Meerkats are fun to watch as they go about their day to day lives and of course, there are our staff supervised wallaby encounters throughout the day, when there is the opportunity to enter their enclosure and experience these lovely animals up close.
Short children's pony rides are on daily (£2.50 a go, check times on arrival) to give your little one a special experience.
And don't forget to see all of our babies - goat kids (including our minor 'celebrity' Twiglet), lambs and a special donkey foal named Twirl.
Playtime and Horseriding
Whilst our indoor Rainforest playbarn remains closed for the time being due to government guidelines, there's plenty of outdoor fun to be had! There's our popular Tots play area, with boat themed play equipment and a large sand-pit for sandy fun and sandcastle building; two other play areas dotted around the farm park; fun pedal tractors; a fabulous go-kart track (£1.00 a go) and Fergie, our real tractor for the kids to climb aboard.
We are delighted that our horseriding is fully back up and running. Offering lessons for all abilities and any age (from 3 years up), there's nothing quite like being at one with your horse. Treks are also available to have a relaxing adventure through beautiful surrounding countryside and woodland. Want to find out more? Check out our riding page and call us for availability.
Catering at the farm park
Delicious drinks, tasty snacks and fabulous fodder!
Our Garden Room cafe and Rainforest Coffee shop remain closed, however that doesn't stop us providing some hearty fare to keep you going during your visit! We have up to 5 takeaway food and beverage outlets open, serving a good range of drinks, snacks and delicious food such as Hot Pork, stuffing & apple cobs, Burgers, a range of Jacket Potatoes and freshly made sandwiches. We have plenty of outdoor tables to consume items bought on site.
We can cater for special dietary requirements too - please call us on the day of your visit so we can prepare your food accordingly and reduce your waiting time.
We also have a designated picnic area at the farm park, so you can bring your own food items on site.
