We welcome school trips, pre-schools, scouting and guiding organisations, holiday groups and more!

Our aim is to give your children a rewarding day out, where learning and enjoyment go hand in hand.

Your visit includes a range of guided activities from our enthusiastic and experienced staff, as well as allowing pupils time to play at our exciting play areas. The guided tour element of the visit touches on various topics linking to the primary curriculum, but if you would like us to focus on one area in more detail, this can easily be delivered.

We can accommodate from 20 to 120 in a group with classrooms and outdoor, covered heated areas, so that your group may comfortably eat their packed lunches. We also have free coach parking.

Pre-school groups may choose to visit under the following packages, however if many parents are intending to come on the trip, it may be more beneficial for you to visit under Offer 1 of our Weekday Saver Deal which you can view here to enjoy a more relaxed trip without structured activities, joining in with public activities instead. Children on a guided tour

Guided Tour

A fun and informative tour of the farm park and our animals. A bucket of animal feed is included so children can experience hand feeding and stroking of the animals.

Topics such as animal classification and physical features, growth and babies, animal senses, habitats and predator vs prey, can be covered and targeted to the age of the group. More in depth focus can be given to one of these areas or we can link with other relevant topic work.

Get up close to pet a bunny rabbit, stroke a guinea pig and handle a tortoise*.

Our staff will discuss the animals with pupils, enlightening them on their needs. Being so close with gentle, friendly animals is a delight for our young visitors and creates special memories.

*tortoises cannot be handled during winter months

Gather around the meerkat pen and see our family meerkat mob at work and play.

Hear all about their needs, their habitat, diet and unique set of behaviours. All children have the opportunity to give live mealworm to the meerkats too!

Should you wish a less structured visit, you are welcome to book and wander at leisure with your animal feed and join in with public activities. A reserved space for lunch can still be provided.
