Getting the most
out of your visit!
Please check the weather forecast before you set off! In winter it can be very cold and windy up on the farm so please bring warm layers and a waterproof to enjoy all the fun. We also advise wellies or sensible footwear as some areas can get muddy. In summer we advise you bring sun hats and sun cream!
A range of fun, timed guided activities are on each day and these will be displayed on our large blackboard as you enter the farm park. We recommend that you take a screen-shot of this, so you can refer to it as you wander the farm park to make sure you don’t miss your favourite activities!
Pick up a bag of animal feed on entry to enjoy hand feeding our animals as you wander the farm park. When you are feeding our four legged, grass-eating animals please remember to keep your hand nice and flat. We strongly advise that when you are feeding pigs or donkeys, you throw the feed on the ground and do not put your hands in, as pigs and donkeys have terrible table manners and aren’t very good at sharing!
Please note that no smoking is permitted anywhere inside the farm park, the smoking area is located in the car park.
No children under sixteen are allowed into the farm park without an adult and no dogs are allowed in the farm park (apart from guide dogs).
